Our Story
Summer 2022 was carefree and full of fun for Busola and Jonathan—a time spent hanging out with friends and making memories at various events. Neither of them knew that by the end of August, their lives would change forever on a date they’d never forget.
It all started with a casual exchange of messages on Twitter on the 14th of August 2022. Exactly a week later, on the 20th, they went out for dinner— and from that night on, Canary Wharf became their special spot - a place they would explore and return to again and again.
They clicked almost instantly, bonded by a shared sense of humour that made everything feel easy and natural. Busola had no hesitation digging into buffalo wings on their first date, completely unbothered by appearances, even instructing Jonathan on how to take her pictures and the best angles to use. Jonathan, ever laid-back and supportive, simply went along with it, enjoying the moment. That’s how he made her feel—completely free to be herself.
But it wasn’t just laughter that connected them. They soon realised they shared something even deeper…
